No. We are an enrichment summer education program. Students come to learn about future relevant careers in fields that they are interested in. We promote a love of learning. We have no set homework activities or compulsory testing in our summer program. Today’s students have access to a large chunk of the knowledge of mankind on the devices in front of them.  We empower our students to take charge of their own learning. We encourage students to use the knowledge and new paths of interest that they obtain in our classes to explore future career paths and use the multitude of AI tools to further their independent knowledge and ultimately find the career paths they are most passionate about.

[For the after school program Mid September 2023 onwards: We will decide at a later date if there will be homework/after class content at a later date]

We have a robust orientation process for all new students and their families to access the metaverse. Upon enrollment, we send an information kit to our students’ families. We also schedule times for students to come in and get familiar with the classroom, set up their own avatars and learn how to move about the classroom and manipulate objects.
Students can join us 30 minutes prior to the start of the session if they need help with getting started.

In addition to our courses, Metavisionaries Academy offers a robust community where learners can collaborate, network, and learn from each other. Learners can connect with peers, join study groups, participate in discussions, and engage in virtual events, creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment. We understand the importance of gamification and social interaction in education. Outside of our lecture dome we have monitored rooms where students can meet to play Dungeons and Dragons, join the Metavisionaries Academy Anime club, play Kerbal Space Program, Space Sandbox Simulator and watch the latest Kurzgesagt educational videos (let’s partner with all of these)

Generally classes are 40 minutes but students tend to stay in the metaship and interact with the VR assets for another 20 minutes.

At Metavisionaries Academy, we promote diversity and inclusion. We welcome students from all age groups and backgrounds who have a passion to learn about Space Sciences.

In general, classes are around 20 students with an instructor and aid which puts our teacher/student ratio at 1:10

Student safety is our number one priority. All teachers are thoroughly background checked. There are 2 adult teachers in each lecture dome both with the power to mute and “freeze” any student who is not following class guidelines or detracting from the learning experience from other students.

This depends on personal preferences. However, we recommend a maximum of 2 classes per day to avoid unnecessary visual stress.

Yes. You can access our platform and unlock a world of limitless learning possibilities using a VR headset, a laptop, or a phone. Our platform is designed to accommodate different types of devices, including VR headsets, laptops, and phones, so learners can choose the device that best fits their preferences and resources.

Our Metaverse classroom can be accessed through a VR headset, laptop or a smartphone. When students sign up for a class, we send them detailed technical instructions for getting started and also offer free sessions to help them get into the environment.

With our VR spaceship themed in Space, learners can step into virtual classrooms, laboratories, and simulations that bring learning to life. They can interact with virtual objects, explore 3D environments, and engage in hands-on activities, all from the comfort of their own homes or any location with internet access. Our VR experiences also provide interactive and immersive learning opportunities, blending virtual content with the real world to create unique educational experiences.
